**Associate Director**

**About the Role**

The Associate Director is responsible for leading the development and delivery of campaigns, projects and initiatives to develop, attract and support priority industry sectors (Technology & Cyber Security, Clean Economy or Health & Life Sciences) for investment into NSW and contribute to the achievement of Investment NSW’s objectives.

As a key account manager, the role provides expert advice and drives collaboration between the industry sector and government, engages key business targets to promote significant business advantages in NSW, delivers business attraction services and promotes industry development in the priority sectors to deliver economic development and job creation outcomes.

**About the Team**

Investment Partnerships attracts and supports businesses to establish and grow across priority sectors in NSW by providing a range of bespoke services including assistance with business case development, help navigating incentives, programs and processes and assistance with familiarisation and site visits.

**About You**

You hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent relevant professional experience.

It is highly preferable that you have proven commercial experience in the industry sector (Technology & Cyber Security, Clean Economy or Health & Life Sciences).

You have substantial end to end project delivery experience, and the ability to identify and understand industry issues and economic environments both domestically and internationally.

You have demonstrated business development experience, with the capacity to build an investor client base and pipeline with limited resources under pressure, drive priorities and meet deadlines.

You have demonstrated experience working at a senior or executive level in a complex organisation delivering specialist and authoritative advice to executive leadership.

Ideally, you have knowledge and understanding, or the demonstrated ability to develop an understanding of the Government’s trade, business attraction and industry development policies and programs, NSW’s international business operations, export and investment approaches, and market dynamics.
