**About the team**

The Office of Education Innovation and Enterprise is responsible for:

- Strategic leadership and oversight of innovation in education with a particular focus on digital uplift across the full student lifecycle in both curricula and co-curricular areas, as well as consolidating the multiple initiatives with respect to work-integrated learning at curricula and co-curricular levels to develop an overall strategy for employability, and broader forms of experiential learning;
- Leading the development of innovations in partnerships with third party organisations and industry, and advances UWA’s short course and micro-credentials within the UWA Plus framework.

The University’s professional service delivery model was created to deliver effective and efficient end to end services across the whole University. The model includes all core services of the University and creates functionally aligned services delivered through Service Delivery Centres.

**About the opportunity**

As the appointee you will, under broad direction, play a key role in supporting the implementation of the capital projects which support digital transformation to achieve the strategic priorities of the Education portfolio; enhancing the student experience and student enrolment growth. You will work in partnership with relevant UWA areas including Academic stakeholders and University IT to develop and implement effective and efficient Policy, Process and Systems to increase student revenue and enhance the student experience.

Specific focus will be on the digital transformation projects such as Student Experience (Employability). Partner Portal, Contemporised High Impact Learning and Teaching Spaces,Integrated Learning and Teaching Platforms, Scoping and onboarding on a B2B CRM,and Supporting implementation of systems to enhance online offerings for short courses and micro credentials.

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will need to be agile, be able to work across a portfolio of digital enablement projects, be a strong communicator and engage positively with a range of stakeholders.

To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:

- Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency
- Extensive knowledge and expertise of contemporary business performance practice and procedures
- Substantial knowledge and expertise in project management and continuous improvement methodology e.g. Agile, Lean
- Extensive knowledge and experience in developing and implementing continuous improvement frameworks, processes and programs
- Excellent planning and organisational skills and demonstrated ability to drive results in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders
- Proven ability to lead project teams, motivate and influence others to achieve goals and provide high quality service
- Strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems and business requirements
- Proven experience delivering improvements across policy, process and systems
- Working knowledge of the Higher Education sector specifically is highly desirable
