**About this role**

As the Contract Administration Officer, you will work in the Building Projects Team and assist with the delivery of a wide range of major building projects for Latrobe City Council. As the Contract Administration Officer you will assist with the following:

- Administration of project contracts and vendor panel requests to ensure quality outcomes.
- Maintenance of electronic records, ensuring a consistently high level of work and customer service
- Attend regular site meetings and keep accurate minutes
- Create and monitor contracts, purchase orders, organisational procedures, and other internal documentation as well as development of general letters and ad-hoc correspondence for review by the Major Projects Team.
- Engage with members of the organisation and community to achieve goals of the team and the organisation

**About You**

For this position we are seeking someone with well-developed communications skills to be able to to work collaboratively with the other team members of the Building Projects team as well as to communicate and develop relation ships with a broad range of stakeholders. You will have the ability to manage your own time and be able to plan, organise and set priorities to achieve the objectives of the team.

You will also need
- Knowledge of the construction industry as it relates to the Building Projects team
- Previous experience in Contract Administration or a strong understanding of the key principles of Contract Administration as it relates to AS4000 - General Conditions of Contract
- Current White Card (Construction Induction Card)
- The ability (or ability to quickly learn) to interpret diagrammatic plans and maps.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and establish strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including Latrobe City Council staff and teams, external community stakeholders, external funding bodies and local construction contractors.
