**About the role**
We are currently seeking a Compliance Officer to undertake the administrative tasks required for ensuring Home in Place’s Group portfolio including NRAS is compliant with regulatory obligations, by undertaking auditing and quality assurance checks.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Coordinating compilation of NRAS documentation, disbursement and returns as required, and in consultation with the Group Executive manager of Registration, Risk and Compliance, liaise and respond to government agency requests regarding NRAS compliance matters.
- Carry out ingoing income assessments for applicants prior to lease sign up and confirm applicants meet the income eligibility requirements,
- Carry out annual income eligibility assessments for all NRAS households and inform operations where tenants no longer meet these requirements to enable them to transition the tenant/s to other suitable housing in accordance with NRAS regulations and timeframes,
- Administer the processes for collecting NRAS tenant information (TDA) forms and obtaining independent market rent valuations,
- Administer the process for obtaining and submitting to the relevant government agency independent market rental valuations in accordance with NRAS regulations and timeframes
- Completing compliance and auditing activities to support the Compliance Department

To be considered for this role, please ensure you have addressed the following essential selection criteria:

- Qualifications in Business Administration or significant practical experience working with NRAS compliance
- Understanding of NRAS legislation and regulations,
- Previous experience working with highly confidential information,
- Ability to use Microsoft Office systems
- A Current Drivers License

You will be required to undertake a national background check and police check as part of the recruitment process.
