**About the Role**

The Data and Reporting Officer will be supporting the Tocal College to ensure data and reporting compliance and quality assurance to the requirements of the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Standards and Tocal College policies and guidelines. The role also provides technical advice and administration support for the management and submission of student data and reporting to various bodies, including AVETMISS and funding bodies.

Key responsibilities of the **Data and Reporting Officer** but not limited to:

- Maintain data and reporting compliance and work with the Senior Compliance and Quality Assurance Officer and the Student Administration team
- Coordinate and manage information, records, and systems/databases to comply with administrative systems, processes, and policies
- Ensure that all information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible and in accordance with RTO related legislation, regulation, and standards
- Provide guidance and advice in relation to data and reporting systems and processes to the broader team to ensure consistency
- Escalate and support in resolving complex enquiries and issues to ensure the provision of accurate information, and the timely and effective resolution of issues

This role will identify and develop practical solutions to achieve data and reporting compliance and quality assurance to standards and requirements.

This role reports to the Senior Compliance & Quality Assurance Officer.

**About You**

You are a result driven team player and an excellent communicator, with the ability to support the Team in driving the data and reporting quality and compliance agenda and maintain effective working relationships with a range of business clients and government stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Determine and manage own workload and priorities
- Organisational skills to balance competing demands across the team
- Ability to initiate, develop and implement processes to improve team effectiveness
