**Sales & Marketing Manager | Entertainment Venue | Melbourne CBD**

**The Company**

Our client runs a a new entertainment venue located in the heart of Melbourne's CBD. It comprises 7 different spaces over 3 floors and houses 6 bars and a full kitchen. Specialising in bar sports and activities, offering Table Tennis, VR, Darts, Shuffleboard tables and courts to name a few. The venues key focus is delivering the ultimate patron experience from its food, interactions and atmosphere.

**The Role**

An exciting opportunity is available for a management level Sales & Marketing manager to head up the marketing & events team. This hands-on role is broad and requires experience in hospitality marketing and managing events. The business is expanding in the near future so we require someone who can manage multiple sites. The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for the implementation and management of all events, sales, marketing and promotions.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Marketing - Plan, coordinate and implement an annual marketing plan including social media channels, EDM'S, advertising and sales
- Events - Working with the events coordinator to delegate and respond to all inbound function enquiries
- Internal Events/Activations - building partnerships and creating events and promotions to link to major Melbourne events
- Sales and Business Development - Develop a plan with the marketing team for outbound sales
- Building relationships with new and existing clients to ensure repeat business
- Working with the Owners on a national expansion strategy
- Management - Manage sales and marketing team members including training, recruitment and setting KPI's
- Budgets, Forecasting & Reporting - Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual budget plans
- Maximising sales revenue through events and activations
- Communications - Attend weekly management meetings and ensure effective communications across a range of parties

**What you bring to the role**
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
- Hospitality experience preferred but not essential
- Team management skills
- Systems development and management experience (Salesforce, or similar)
- Legal right to work in Australia
- Availability to work flexible hours should they be required (i.e. medium to large corporate client functions)
