Hays has partnered with a leading Federal Government Agency, specialising in support for Australian Veterans. We are currently recruiting for an experienced APS5 Assistant Clinical Practice Manager to join their team. This is a 12-month assignment until June 30 2024. Our client has two vacancies. One based in Mt Gravatt and one in Ipswitch.

**Your new role**

As the APS5 Assistant Practice Manager you will be part of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Services team. Reporting to the Regional Clinical Practice Manager, the purpose of this role is to manage the regions daily administrative support operations and requirements. This includes corporate functions such as human resources, property and finance management, quality improvement and assurance.

Duties include:

- Line manage administration support team members, including performance management feedback and identification of training needs.
- Coordinate the region’s support team in the delivery of a professional, efficient and welcoming reception service. Monitor and ensure client customer service standards are met by the support team.
- Manage complex client and operational issues escalated from regional staff.
- Assist the PM in managing the human resource requirements across the region including recruitment, on-boarding, induction and off-boarding activities.
- Assist the PM in the management of corporate functions including property, security, operational resource requirements, travel and finance across the region.
- Monitor quality of work and conduct quality assurance activities for the support team. Assist in managing the operational compliance and audit framework. Undertake quality audits in the client management system. Coordinate the region’s reporting requirements including data analysis.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Be an Australian Citizen
- The ability to pass a National Criminal History Check
- Certificate IV equivalent qualification in office, practice and/or business management or similar field would be highly regarded
- Past experience in a similar role

**What you'll get in return**
- 12-month assignment with a leading Federal Government agency supposed by Hays
- Hourly rate of $50 - $55 + Super (based on experience)
- Full-time working hours of 37.5 p/w, Monday - Friday
- Role based in Mt Gravatt or Ipswitch
