- Duration: Up to 12 months, with the potential for extension based on performance and business needs.
- $55+ per hour + superannuation

**Role Overview**

As an APS5 Planner, you will play a crucial role in planning activities that positively impact the lives of individuals with disabilities. Your tasks will involve navigating through complex information to make informed decisions, contributing to the agency's objectives through procedural, administrative, and operational tasks. This is a team-oriented position that may also involve leading and guiding junior team members when necessary.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Collaborate with team leadership to manage workflow efficiently.
- Collect information from participants, representatives, and various stakeholders to facilitate high-quality planning and well-founded decision-making.
- Determine appropriate funded supports for participant plans, balancing formal and informal assistance.
- Engage closely with participants and their representatives to identify current and future support needs, encompassing mainstream, informal, and community options.
- Address and resolve issues and concerns related to participant plans.
- Complete essential administrative tasks, including accurate data entry and maintenance of participant records and workflows.
- Contribute to achieving key performance indicators, including planning targets.

**Role Requirements**
- Australian Citizenship is mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle complex information.
- Empathetic and patient approach in dealing with participants and stakeholders.
- Problem-solving skills to address moderately complex to complex inquiries.
- Collaborative mindset to work effectively within a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
- Deadline-oriented and adaptable to changing priorities.
