We’re looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager to join the dynamic team at Commonry. Reporting to the GM of Marketing & Ecommerce, this role will be at the forefront of developing and executing engaging marketing plans that amplify brand awareness, increase customer engagement, and forge impactful partnerships.
With a strong focus on social media, public relations, and sustainability, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring Commonry stands out as a leader in the market.
**IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL NEED TO**:
- Lead the creation of dynamic, engaging content across social media platforms.
- Build relationships with social media creators to develop impactful collaborations.
- Develop and execute seasonal public relations and marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with external agencies to deliver aligned and impactful campaigns.
- Manage the brand's marketing calendar, ensuring timely execution and stakeholder alignment.
- Analyse campaign performance to identify successes and opportunities for improvement.
- Build strong relationships with media, Centre management, and department store teams to secure ongoing marketing support.
- Lead sustainability initiatives aligned with the brand strategy.
- Foster meaningful charity partnerships and ensure transparent reporting of progress.
- On-site role 5-days per week, based in our St Kilda Road offices.
**THE PERFECT FIT**:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing, communications, or a related field, with a focus on retail or fashion brands.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns.
- Experience managing social media platforms and building strategies to increase engagement and brand awareness.
- Demonstrated success in working with PR agencies, media outlets, and brand partnerships.
- Familiarity with sustainability initiatives and integrating them into brand strategies.
- A tertiary qualification or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting and storytelling.
- Outstanding project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
