**About the Role**:
You will be responsible for providing leadership support to the Business Manager with an emphasis on effective and efficient management of the school's finances by providing a high level of confidential administration and financial support to Business Manager. Working with the Business Manager the Administration Officer leads the Schools Financial processes to ensure compliance with legislation and audit requirements.
As the Administration Officer you will be responsible for but not limited to;
- Financial reporting and monitoring to ensure the school meet audit compliance
- Student Resource Scheme (SRS) management and compliance
- Accounts payable / receivable management - credit notes/bad debts
- QLD Aboriginal Torres Straight Islander Foundation (QATSIF) management
- Aged Debtors management and reporting
- Financial Excursion management
- Ensure invoices and statements are generated, issues and or administered on time and consistent with legislative and audit requirements
- Generate student bulk bills, invoice and credit notes
- Provide training and support to colleagues
- Reconciliation of monthly bank statement, Processing of monthly reports and investigating of transactions
- Assist and support the Business Manger (BM)with budget tracking and financial processes
- Assist and support the BM with journals, budget adjustments, end of financial year returns, system evaluation checklists
- Monitor and support day to day financial processes
- Generation of monthly reports
- Create product codes and revenue codes as required
- Approval of parent refunds - refund requests and student exits
- Student Services - manage and support daily receipting, approval of daily takings
- Centrepay/direct deposits - approval of daily receipting
- Student Resource Scheme - financial reports
- Payment Plans - monitor and support AO2 Finance with implementation and payment agreements, Centrepay and Bpoint payment plans
- BPOINT - daily checking of reports, process UNAI and BPUNA transactions
- Credit adjustments - processing of credits on account, bad debts for principal approval and parent refunds
- Assist parents with finance queries

Mandatory Requirements;
When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services. Please refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.
