UGL Defence has recently been awarded the contract to manage the Defence fuel related Asset Management, Operations and Maintenance. We are recruiting a Document Controller and Report Writer to support to join our team in what is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment to support the national security requirements of the Nation.
**The Role**
This Document Controller& Report Writer, reporting to the Project Controls Manage, will be responsible for gathering data, processing information and effectively communicate it. The role is responsible for, but not limited to:
- Establish and implement a streamlined data collection, collation and structuring process, involving data from multiple sources
- Analyse data and provide reports on trends, patterns and key insights relevant to the project
- Using PowerBi or similar, collaborate or generate graphs, charts, tables and other visual aids to supplement textual reports
- Work closely with Document Management System (DMS) owner, to ensure quality and compliance of all document control, and look to continuously improve the process
- Provide guidance and support to the project on document control
**On Your First Day we expect you to bring to the team**:
- Extensive experience working in a similar role within a complex environment
- Proven experience in PowerBI/Tablea or similar is essential for the role with strong excel and power query knowledge
- Ability to understand and synthesise complex information and effectively communicate it to various audiences
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain relevant security clearances
