**About you**

In addition to sharing our passion, to be successful in this role you will have:

- Sound knowledge of risk and issues management
- Sound knowledge of project management methodologies - eg. Waterfall, Agile, Prince2, Lean
- Sound knowledge of contract and financial management processes
- Significant previous experience managing complex projects and program management.
- Experience in effectively managing multi-million-dollar budgets
- Experience in multi-vendor negotiations
- Demonstrated initiative and proactive approach to problem solving

**About the role**

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Support concept development and options analysis phases of projects
- Prepare business cases and estimates for projects to present recommendations to reach final approvals.
- Lead procurement and tendering activities, taking a strategic approach to procurement planning including the implementation of supplier panels
- Lead high level contract negotiations and execution, in consultation with Legal and make recommendations in line with delegated financial authority.
- Provision of regular status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues to key stakeholders.
- Monitor and manage overall program delivery performance and take appropriate action to address any issues.
- Ensure all projects are delivered in accordance with Horizon Power’s Project Management Methodology, and that the required project documentation is developed and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Escalation to the Senior Manager Technology Projects for the purposes of seeking DFA approvals and informing of roadblocks/ situations that present potential risks, outside delegated authority.
- Build and effectively manage various multi-disciplinary, high performing, project teams.
- Lead internal project team members through resource/workload allocation, expectation setting and managing performance, to meet project objectives.
- Manage contractors/consultants throughout all phases of Project Delivery, fostering development and driving productivity
