Attractive permanent opportunity for an Infrastructure & Transport Manager to join a thriving Local Government Council and undertake an exciting role in NSW.

**Your new role**

In the Transport & Strategic Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a broad range of requests and processes supporting initial ideas through to final delivery. You’ll need to be proactive and a strong communicator. You’ll value teamwork, consistency and openness to change. At the end of the day, you’ll know that you are making a difference. The work you do is valued, both within the council and by the community. Making a tangible meaningful contribution to the liveability of the local community. Your knowledge ensures that compliance and industry standards are met in design and construction as we move into a sustainable and future focussed era within council.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and / or extensive experience in traffic and transport planning and implementation of major new developments and road proposals, including liaison with key Transport stakeholders and NSW government agencies.
Extensive experience and knowledge of at least one of the following functions: strategic planning/traffic engineering, civil engineering, flood analysis, drainage design, water sensitive urban design, environmental impact management and drafting.
- Current Class C driving licence.
- Be an effective communicator, able to provide technical advice relating to design methods, techniques and equipment.
- Proven experience of leading a technical team.
