Role Overview

This Associate Technical Director/Senior Design Manager position is designed for an experienced professional with a passion for delivering high-quality transportation infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will lead multiple complex inter-disciplinary projects and provide technical leadership to inspire direction and delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage your expertise to drive optimal design decisions through collaboration, innovation, and creativity across the project team.
  • Use interpersonal and influencing skills to achieve successful negotiation outcomes and manage client relationships.
  • Develop and implement Design Management Plans to ensure effective project execution.
  • Monitor and review design scope to ensure alignment with project requirements and specifications.
  • Promote safety awareness throughout all project phases, from design to decommissioning.
  • Identify and communicate design risks and issues to stakeholders.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A relevant engineering degree and Chartered status or equivalent professional accreditation.
  • Extensive experience leading multidisciplinary design teams in the transportation infrastructure market.
  • Demonstrated expertise in delivering complex road infrastructure projects.
  • Strong technical and commercial skills, with a solid understanding of industry trends and ability to secure opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build influential relationships.
Compensation Package

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. This includes a competitive benefits package and opportunities for career growth and development within Arcadis.
