Role: Sales and Marketing Officer – New grads or Entry level
Location: Seven Hills, NSW
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Our client is a well-established supplier of premium industrial components, with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality solutions across Australia and New Zealand. Serving a diverse range of sectors including mining, agriculture, automotive and general manufacturing, we are committed to supporting our customers with innovative products, technical expertise, and responsive service.
The Sales and Marketing Officer will play a key role in supporting business development and brand promotion efforts. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will assist in managing customer relationships, executing marketing initiatives, and contributing to overall sales performance. This is a hands-on and varied role ideal for someone who is commercially minded, detail-oriented, and motivated by customer success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing existing customer accounts and identifying new business opportunities.
- Prepare quotations, sales proposals, and product presentations for prospective clients.
- Maintain up-to-date records in the company's CRM system and manage sales documentation.
- Coordinate product inquiries, order processing, and follow-up communications.
Marketing Activities
- Oversee and maintain the company website
- Initiate digital marketing promotions on various platforms
- Create contents and material for exhibitions
Key Skills & Attributes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- High attention to detail, particularly in documentation and reporting.
- Readiness to be exposed to various areas of business in a small organisation.
- A customer-focused mindset with a collaborative working style.
- Willingness to learn technical product knowledge and industry trends.
Qualifications & Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or similar is preferred but not a must
- 0–2 years' experience in similar sales / marketing role in industrial industries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with CRM tools is highly regarded
- Previous exposure to industrial, manufacturing, or automotive markets is advantageous.
