We are seeking an experienced Proposal and Tender Manager to join our growing team. As part of our strategic initiative to build robust in-house capacity, this role is crucial in supporting our external partners and ensuring we maximize every opportunity in our dynamic market.

We're investing in our future by strengthening our proposal and tender management capabilities. This newly created position will be instrumental in elevating our competitive positioning and driving growth through excellence in tender and proposal management. You'll work at the intersection of business development, technical expertise, and strategic partnerships, ensuring we identify and capture the right opportunities in the marketplace.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end tender and proposal development processes, from opportunity identification through to submission
  • Monitor tender portals and identify relevant opportunities aligned with our capabilities
  • Manage tender compliance requirements and ensure all submissions meet mandatory criteria
  • Coordinate tender briefings, site visits, and Q&A processes
  • Maintain tender pipeline and opportunity tracking systems
  • Collaborate closely with external partners to develop compelling, compliant, and competitive proposals
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including technical experts, pricing analysts, and subject matter experts
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Establish and maintain proposal and tender best practices, templates, and knowledge management systems
  • Develop and implement tender/proposal go/no-go decision frameworks
  • Create and maintain a library of reusable tender content and case studies
  • Conduct win/loss analyses and implement continuous improvement strategies
  • Develop proposal strategies that differentiate Jarrah Integrated Services in the marketplace
  • Manage multiple tenders and proposals simultaneously while maintaining exceptional quality standards
  • Provide strategic advice on tender positioning and competitive advantages
  • Mentor team members in proposal writing and tender response techniques

What we are looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in proposal and tender management, preferably in a similar industry
  • Proven track record of winning complex, high-value tenders and proposals
  • Experience with tender portals and electronic submission systems
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management capabilities with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Experience working with external partners and managing stakeholder relationships
  • Understanding of tender compliance requirements and evaluation criteria
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and proposal/tender management software

Highly desirable

  • Professional certification (APMP or equivalent)
  • Experience in the facility management industry sector
  • Knowledge of government procurement processes
  • Background in business development or technical writing
  • Experience building proposal capabilities from the ground up
