Client Service Officer - Housing Response Centre

The Housing Response Centre (HRC) operates 24/7 and employs around 500 staff to provide social housing services to clients in NSW, utilising various channels such as telephone, email and online platforms to cater to our clients' needs effectively.

Your role

Are you passionate about customer service and ready to make a real impact in your community? As a Client Service Officer at the Housing Response Centre, you'll play a vital role in supporting vulnerable clients across NSW by delivering timely, empathetic, and accurate assistance. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic 24/7 team, grow your skills, and contribute to DCJ's mission of breaking disadvantage and building inclusive communities.

What you\'ll do

This challenging and rewarding role requires staff to respond to enquiries from Housing NSW clients and members of the public and provide accurate and appropriate information about Housing NSW products and services, as well as those offered by key stakeholders. Additionally, staff will process various applications and engage in outbound campaigns.

  • Experience in providing exceptional customer service to vulnerable and diverse clients
  • Excellent computer navigations skills and the ability to work between multiple screens and data bases
  • Contact Centre experience is desirable by not essential
  • Dedication to continuous learning through both in-person and virtual training
  • Ability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster
