Overview

We are working with a leading international firm who are looking for a Solicitor to join their Corporate team within their Sydney office.

The Role:

The successful candidate will join an established and well-regarded team, providing a diverse range of corporate services, including public and private M&A, joint ventures, private equity, venture capital, and corporate advisory. The candidate will support the team across a variety of sectors, including technology, IP, antitrust, tax, real estate, and employment. The candidate will play a key role in advising a diverse range of international and domestic clients on high-profile and cross-border corporate law issues. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to contribute to business development while managing client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Provide corporate services including public and private M&A, joint ventures, private equity, venture capital, and corporate advisory.
  • Support the team across sectors such as technology, IP, antitrust, tax, real estate, and employment.
  • Advise international and domestic clients on high-profile and cross-border corporate law issues.
  • Contribute to business development and manage client relationships.
Qualifications
  • 2-4 PQE
  • Strong background in corporate law, M&A, and cross-border transactions in a large international or City firm
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Outstanding academics
  • Technically excellent
  • Willingness to be involved in business development
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
