Visory is hiring to lead payroll operations and scale an AI-enabled service for small businesses across Australia and beyond.

What You'll Do
  • Own payroll workflow delivery – ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Monitor and enforce service levels, proactively solving capacity and SLA risks
  • Oversee ad-hoc requests and ensure high-quality outcomes across all tasks
  • Implement strong quality control practices in partnership with the Process & Quality team
  • Lead root cause analysis and documentation of quality issues, preventing recurrence
  • Maintain up-to-date process documentation and support platform improvements
  • Build scalable onboarding processes for new customers, reducing key person risk
  • Drive team development and technical training to maintain excellence
  • Act as technical SME in the shift toward a more scalable marketplace payroll model
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve workflows and unlock future growth
What We're Looking For
  • Obsession with execution – set high standards and deliver consistently
  • Experience leading teams and building scalable, repeatable processes
  • Fluency in payroll operations and compliance (Australia & NZ ideal)
  • Detail-oriented with ability to think systemically
  • Enjoy improving workflows and working closely with product teams
  • Interest in shaping the future of payroll delivery in a modern, AI-enabled model
Bonus Points
  • Experience transitioning payroll teams to marketplace or outsourced models
  • Experience implementing payroll tech or leading platform enhancements
  • Experience in high-growth or startup environments
