The business was started in 2012 in Perth and has grown to 15 offices, mainly in WA and one in Sydney. It aims to be a national leader by the end of 2025. Its core service is accounting, complemented by additional advisory services. We are seeking an experienced and driven Practice Manager to join our team at our Maida Vale office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage front desk operations, including answering calls, scheduling appointments, welcoming clients, and processing payments.
  • Maintain and update trust account transactions in worksheets.
  • Prepare and issue proposals to clients promptly.
  • Assist with Work in Progress (WIP) wash-ups to support accurate billing.
  • Maintain and update worksheets, including ledger entries and bookkeeping/BAS task tracking.
  • Manage staff access to various software such as Xero, Xero Ledgers, CAS360, etc.
  • Perform general practice management tasks as required.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in an administrative role, preferably in a senior position.
  • Background in an accounting firm or financial services is preferred.
  • Exposure to Xero is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage a workload and adapt to role's varying nature.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized and able to meet deadlines.
