Our client is a leading national law firm with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional legal services across a wide range of sectors. Their Perth office is at the forefront of high-stakes estates litigation. With a collaborative and innovative team, they are looking for a Senior Lawyer to join this well respected Partner.

The Role

This is an outstanding opportunity for a talented and experienced Senior Associate or Special Counsel level lawyer to take on a leadership role within this team, running complex estates disputes.

You will work closely with the Partners and a talented group of professionals, advising clients across a variety of estates and commercial matters. This role offers the opportunity to work with some of the most respected lawyers in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex matters, from inception to resolution, ensuring timely and effective delivery of legal services.
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients on a wide range of issues.
• Draft and review pleadings, submissions, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in hearings and mediations.
• Manage client relationships and work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Mentor and supervise junior lawyers, fostering a supportive and collaborative team environment.
• Contribute to business development efforts and build your own network of clients.

About You

• Qualified lawyers with at least 5 years' PAE in estate and/ or commercial litigation.
• Strong technical legal skills, with experience in both courtroom and mediation settings.
• A proactive and results-driven approach to client management and problem-solving.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, with a commitment to mentoring junior lawyers.
• An ability to think strategically, demonstrating sound judgment and decision-making.
• Admission to practice in Australia, with the ability to work in the Perth market.
