Role Description – Practice Manager

We are currently seeking a professional and motivated Practice Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Cottesloe clinic. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operations of our multidisciplinary GP and specialist clinic, ensuring the delivery of efficient, compliant, and high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the smooth operation of a multidisciplinary GP and specialist practice.

Coordinate clinical schedules and streamline patient care across multiple specialties.

Manage administrative functions, promoting effective communication between clinicians and patients.

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain accreditation standards.

Collaborate with GPs and specialists to optimise care delivery and patient experience.

Key Skills and Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in practice management, medical administration, or healthcare operations.

Sound knowledge of healthcare compliance, Medicare billing, private health, and specialist billing procedures.

Strong leadership capabilities with experience in staff recruitment, training, and performance management.

Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Competence in budget management, medical record systems, and financial reporting.

Proficiency in medical software (e.g., Best Practice, Gentu, Healthtrack, or equivalent).

Previous experience in cardiology, general practice, or specialist healthcare settings is highly regarded.

A bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, or a related field is ideal.
