Responsibilities
  • Lead by example, mentoring & inspiring your team on a daily basis
  • Coach your team to achieve & develop their knowledge and skills
  • Lead from the front, providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Create a strong safety mindset with a culture of safety within your team
  • Recruit, onboard, and induct high calibre new Team Members
  • Be responsible for stock management, ensuring stock is maintained and accurate & the team are aware of stock integrity processes
  • Be proactive in keeping your knowledge up to date on pet care, products, and services provided
  • Create a fun, supportive culture in-store where your team loves coming to work every day
  • Pro-actively support local marketing opportunities and sponsorships
What We Need
  • Experience in a similar store leadership role or readiness to take the next step in retail management
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales
  • Strong leadership with ability to motivate and build a high performing team with a positive culture
  • High resilience and ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities
  • Ability to create a positive culture of safety
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Established business acumen
  • Flexibility to meet changing work conditions
  • High degree of interpersonal and communication skills
