About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Team Manager. The ideal candidate will have exceptional clinical skills, leadership capabilities and a passion for mentoring emerging professionals.

As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for managing an allocated caseload, delivering occupational therapy services to participants and fostering the development of others in the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage an allocated caseload and complete therapeutic services in a timely manner
  • Deliver occupational therapy services to participants within schools, homes and the local community
  • Use clinical observations, standardised assessments and interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants get more out of life
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
  • Support graduate and early career occupational therapists through clinical supervision, mentoring, and professional development
Requirements

To be considered suitable for this role, you will need:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience as an Occupational Therapist beyond graduation (5 years minimum)
  • Leadership capability to meet key responsibilities
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
  • A proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas
  • A desire to mentor graduates and early career clinicians
