Director Support Services at Geelong Disability Service

Scheduling, Events & Office Coordinator – Make a Real Difference

Geelong Disability Services – Geelong Region

Do you thrive on being organised, solving problems on the fly, and keeping things running like clockwork?

Do you want a role where your work directly impacts people's lives?

At Geelong Disability Services, we provide in-home disability support services that help people live independently and with dignity. We're growing, we're passionate, and we're looking for someone amazing to join our team as a Scheduling, Events & Office Coordinator.

This is not just "another admin job." You'll be the heart of our operations – juggling rosters, talking with clients and support workers, keeping our office humming, and bringing our brand to life through events, newsletters, and social media.

What you'll be doing

  • Mastering the art of rostering (think Tetris, but with people)
  • Being the first friendly voice or face our clients, families, and staff meet
  • Managing day-to-day admin to keep our service running smoothly
  • Problem-solving on the spot and keeping cool under pressure
  • Designing flyers, newsletters, and other marketing materials
  • Updating our website and social media channels as needed
  • Planning and coordinating events – from community activities to team celebrations
  • Working closely with our team to deliver high-quality support services

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the NDIS sector
  • Experience in rostering, with Brevity Care Software (or quick to learn it)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to get one)
  • Minimum Cert III in Business Administration (highly desirable)
  • Strong communication skills – you can keep everyone on the same page
  • Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Creative skills – you enjoy designing flyers, newsletters, and visual content
  • Confidence updating websites and social media platforms
  • Someone who enjoys organising and running events
  • A knack for staying calm when the phone's ringing, emails are coming in, and a shift needs filling yesterday

Why you'll love working with us

  • A friendly, supportive, and professional team who've got your back
  • Ongoing training and development to keep you growing
  • A role where no two days are the same
  • The satisfaction of knowing your work changes lives
