Are you a passionate Head Chef looking to lead a small but dedicated kitchen team in a dynamic hotel setting? We're helping a busy, full-service hotel in Geelong find a Head Chef who will deliver seasonal menus, manage food costs and inspire excellent standards.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and mentor a small kitchen brigade, rostering, training and daily operations
  • Take ownership of food cost control, supplier negotiations and margins
  • Collaborate on seasonal menu development and refreshes
  • Maintain high standards of presentation, consistency and food safety
  • Work closely with FOH, events and hotel teams to deliver a seamless guest experience
  • Be hands on in the kitchen when needed, supporting the team during busy service

What we'd love you to bring:

  • Proven experience as Head Chef/Senior Sous in busy food & beverage or hotel environments
  • Strong commercial mindset with ability to control food cost and wastage
  • Creative flair and ability to evolve menus in line with guest trends
  • Leadership & interpersonal skills - confident in coaching and building a cohesive team
  • A commitment to quality, consistency and operational discipline
