    Job Description

    The role sits within a diverse finance team and includes...
    • Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
    • Maintaining accurate financial records and data.
    • Performing reconciliations of ledger accounts.
    • Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
    • Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
    • Assisting in the end-of-month closure processes.
    • Supporting internal and external audits.
    • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department.

    The Successful Applicant

    A Successful Assistant Accountant Should Have
    • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
