Rural Bank spent decades partnering with Australian farmers and building up regional communities. Now, as Bendigo Bank Agribusiness, the most trusted bank for Australian farmers, this commitment will continue.

We've never been 'just a bank'. Just like you should never be 'just an employee'. We're united in our belief that in banking, better can be bigger, and together we're making it happen.

It starts here. With Bendigo Bank… and you.

Supporting the Bunbury and South West region, your role as our Agribusiness Relationship Manager is built on connection. Maintaining trusted working relationships with your customers, you'll provide personalised, high-quality banking solutions to meet their needs and grow their businesses. And you'll feel proud to see how your work helps your local community thrive.

In this dynamic and high-impact role, you'll make your mark by:

  • Developing a deep understanding of your customers' goals and delivering win-win solutions while maintaining awareness of Bendigo Bank's own growth targets
  • Working proactively within your community to identify new business prospects and opportunities to attract new agribusiness customers to our thriving portfolio (up to $5m TAE)
  • Partnering with network stakeholders to identify, develop and implement localised engagement plans to achieve successful outcomes for our customers, communities and Bendigo Bank
  • Driving profitable growth for your local area by meeting team sales targets, converting referrals and achieving results you can feel proud of
  • Support the success of your state team by mentoring and growing the skills of your fellow Agribusiness, Business Banking and Retail colleagues across the region
What you'll bring to the role

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in agribusiness, finance or a related discipline
  • The ability to undertake travel and possession of a current "C" class driver licence

We would also love you to have:

  • Demonstrated expertise in agribusiness lending and credit risk principles
  • Financial analysis skills, including the ability to analyse and interpret financial statements
  • Up-to-date knowledge of agriculture market conditions, agribusiness products, cash flows and markets
  • The ability to think outside the square to develop innovative, customer-centric solutions
Why work with us?
  • Want big impact that matters? Here, you'll know your work directly benefits the customers and communities we all serve.
  • Want to be more than just a number? Join a team that truly values you - and that gets more and more diverse, every day.
  • Want career opportunity AND flexibility? Achieve both here, where we know that balance and progression go hand in hand.

You'll also get access to a great range of benefits, including:

  • Hybrid work? Our flexible work options are designed to suit your life - talk to us about what flexibility means to you.
  • Health and wellbeing support, including discounted gym memberships, and private health insurance options.
  • Take your learning to the next level through opportunities like our corporate university 'BEN U' or at an external provider of your choice.

We're making better, bigger. And we'll get there with you.
