We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Department Trainer for the Processing Floors to support the development of our team members and help us shape the future of training in the meat processing industry.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring our people are skilled, safe, and competent across boning operations and adjoining areas, helping us maintain our reputation for quality and excellence.

Job Tasks And Responsibilities- Deliver practical, hands-on training both on-the-job and off-the-job in beef and lamb slaughtering/boning and connected operational areas.
- Conduct refresher and re-training sessions to ensure staff competency and compliance with job requirements.
- Support new employees from day one through onboarding and skills development.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records and verify competency levels across the team.
- Work closely with the Training Manager to identify gaps, prioritise needs, and implement effective training plans.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and promote quality assurance across the department.
- Strong people skills with the ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the organisation.
- Solid knowledge of meat processing and related operational areas.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills to engage diverse groups.
- MS Office proficiency, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Previous experience delivering training in a production or processing environment.
- HR or Learning & Development-related qualifications are highly regarded.
- A qualification in meat processing is desired.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and highly attentive to detail.
- Ensuring PPE is worn and used correctly.
