What you'll be doing:

In your new role, you will be leading and contributing to software development projects from initial requirements through to delivery, ensuring solutions meet both customer needs and market demand. In addition to this, you will be:

  • Collaborating closely with the Development Manager, fellow developers, and other internal teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Engaging in hands-on development with .NET, Visual Studio, SQL, and Azure, while maintaining and enhancing existing systems.
  • Acting as a point of escalation for urgent technical issues, managing priorities, and driving fast resolutions.
  • Taking part in the product roadmap and R&D initiatives, contributing to advancements such as AI-driven recognition, automation through hardware, camera recognition, and sophisticated API integrations.
  • Ensuring solutions are competitive, innovative, and tailored to a variety of industry-specific applications.

Experience required:

  • At least five years of experience using .NET (C#) and Visual Studio.
  • Previous experience in a senior developer role. Also willing to consider candidates who are approaching senior level.
  • Solid SQL skills and confidence with cloud computing platforms (ideally Azure).
  • Experience with distributed source control (Git) and good general IT infrastructure knowledge.
  • Ability to work in a disciplined, on-site environment with urgency when required.
  • Collaborative, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work independently.
