The Opportunity
As the Business Development Manager in our Key Account Management team, you will play a critical role in expanding our market presence and fostering strong relationships with mid-market clients. You will be responsible for overseeing key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and implementing strategies to achieve revenue targets. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in sales and account management.
Key Responsibilities Will Include, But Not Be Limited To
- Identify opportunities for new business and develop and implement strategic sales plans and initiatives to achieve revenue targets.
- Develop and present proposals to prospective clients, showcasing our value proposition and solutions.
- Lead and manage the preparation and submission of bids and tenders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, market trends, and customer feedback to enhance strategic decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Prepare sales presentations and regular reports on account status, revenue, and growth opportunities.
- Proven experience in a Business Development role is essential.
- Strong track record in tender/bid preparation and contract negotiations.
- Strong communicator and have the ability to build meaningful relationships with all stakeholders.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment, can effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, and are driven to achieve your set targets.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities, analyse market trends, and develop actionable plans.
- Tech-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office, and experience with a Sales CRM is desirable.
