The Role

To support our strategic growth initiatives, SMEC has an exciting opportunity for a talented Bid Coordinator to join our team in Sydney. As part of the National Pursuits and Submissions team you will closely partner with opportunity leaders across our business to support the compilation and delivery of compelling proposals for projects within our rail division.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse bid documentation to establish clear understanding of client's requirements.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end bidding process from initial strategy meeting through to the final delivery.
  • Engage with relevant stakeholders to collate documentation and project examples.
  • Maintain timelines, key dates and milestones on proposals ensuring all stakeholders are engaged.
  • Ensure proposals are delivered on time and at the highest quality.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of standard ANZ proposal material including organization charts, CVs, and Project Data Sheets.

About You

We are looking for a Bid Coordinator who can demonstrate:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive and deliver in a role with competing demands and tight deadlines
