We're seeking a Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in delivering major projects across the marine, shipyard, and infrastructure sectors.

This is a great opportunity to combine your project coordination skills with strong commercial acumen — working on exciting projects, reviewing tenders and quotes, and ensuring best-in-class outcomes for our maritime clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate marine project delivery from start to finish
  • Review tenders, supplier quotes, and contract documents to ensure compliance, competitiveness, and value for money
  • Work closely with Project Managers and senior leadership on commercial and contractual decisions
  • Maintain and monitor schedules and budgets, track progress, and prepare project reports
  • Prepare and record variations and work completion forms
  • Monitor and record variances in contract progress and schedules

What We're Looking For:

  • 2+ years' experience in project coordination/management in the marine, shipyard, industrial, or construction sectors
  • Demonstrated experience in project review, analysis, and contract administration
  • Strong financial awareness with the ability to monitor budgets and assess value-for-money
  • Proficiency in project management and financial tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, ERP)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Excel, ERP systems or similar)
  • Understanding of WHS and QA processes in an industrial or marine setting

Bonus points if you have:

  • Tertiary or certificate level qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, or Maritime Operations
  • Knowledge of the Australian Marine Industry
  • Tender Preparation or Contract negotiation experience with suppliers and subcontractors
