Nelson Wine Co is a market-leading fine wine distributor established in 1993. Our portfolio includes iconic Australian, New Zealand, and European brands.

We are looking for an experienced wine sales or hospitality professional with industry knowledge, passion, expertise, and commitment to join our Victorian sales team.

Key responsibilities

As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  1. Developing new business opportunities within an established key metro area in both On Premise & Retail channels.
  2. Achieving an agreed set of KPIs including realistic monthly targets.
  3. Representing all brands within the portfolio.

Skills and experience

We are seeking applicants with:

  • Strong wine knowledge
  • Minimum 2 years wine industry experience & local networks
  • Demonstrated experience in a sales position
  • Experience & passion for wine and the hospitality industry
  • A commitment to building strong business relationships
  • Understanding of what excellent customer service is all about
  • A willingness to work in a dynamic team environment
