Accounts Payable Officer role at Sharp & Carter.

Initial 3-month part-time assignment (3 days per week) with potential to extend.

Salary: $70,000 + superannuation (pro rata).

They are now seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team in the CBD on a part-time contract basis.

Position Description
  • Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and working as part of a small, close-knit team, your responsibilities will include:
  • Processing invoices and conducting statement reconciliations
  • Managing payment runs and settlements
  • Overseeing the AP mailbox and handling supplier queries
  • Supporting the broader finance team with month-end tasks
  • Driving process improvements and assisting with change initiatives
Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will bring proven Accounts Payable experience along with:

  • Strong numeracy and reconciliation skills
  • Confidence working both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A personable approach with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
