Location: Carole Park, Queensland, Australia
OverviewIn this key Payroll Officer position, you will work closely with one of our Business Units to execute weekly, fortnightly, and monthly pay runs accurately and on time, every time.
Responsibilities- Weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll processing including off-cycle pay runs
- Partner with your BU to develop understanding of the roles, awards and pay complexities
- Analysis and audit of all payrolls, ensuring legislative and award compliance
- Participate in system upgrade projects, and continual improvement of payroll processes
- Liaise with HR on employee appointments, terminations, remuneration, etc. and other relevant matters
- A variety of other ad hoc payroll duties where required
- 2+ years proven experience as a Payroll Officer within a medium to large sized organisation
- Strong experience in EA / Modern Award interpretation
- Experience with medium size payroll and time and attendance systems like Ceridian (Preceda) and Kronos
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
- Intermediate Excel and Outlook experience
- Strong customer service skills
