About The Role

Reporting to the State Operations Manager at the Branch Operations Supervisor role supports State Operation Manager throughout QLD.

The role's primary purpose is to ensure branches have sufficient support, resources, and guidance to achieve objectives while maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards. The role will entail regular travel.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monthly reporting of activities and projects.
  • Ensure effective planning for growth within the branches.
  • Management of the general operations of all branch staff while working closely with Branch Managers.
  • Develop operational budgets by branch, and work with State and Branch Managers to ensure they are achieved.
  • Identify strengths, weaknesses and development needs of staff in all branches.
  • Ensure efficient on time delivery to customers.
  • Maximise the efficiency of logistics and yard operations.
  • Ensure delivery costs are within budgets, and work with branch management to achieve this as necessary.
  • Where viable, ensure branches are constantly recruiting for driver contractors.

Skills and Experiences:

Skills & Experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in Management
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience mentoring and leading teams across a multi-site network
  • Exceptional communication skills
