JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you a business administration / secretarial school graduate ready to kick-start your career? If so, applications for our 2026 Trainee Legal Assistant Program are opening on Monday 15 September 2025

What you will do
  • On-the-job training and development, with rotations through 3 different legal teams so you can experience what it's like to work in different areas of the firm;
  • A comprehensive orientation and learning program;
  • A dedicated buddy/coach within each of your 3 rotations who will teach and guide you when undertaking tasks and offer advice along the way; and
  • A dedicated Team Leader who will support and coach you through your entire program and beyond.

Upon successful completion of the program, you will be placed in a permanent Legal Assistant role within one of our legal teams.

Key program dates
  • Applications open on Monday 15 September and close on Monday 13 October 2025
  • Offers made the week commencing Monday 3 November 2025
  • Trainee Legal Assistant Program commences on Tuesday 27 January 2026

To be considered for our Trainee Legal Assistant Program, you will need:

  • Certificate III in Business Administration, Advanced Diploma of Business (Legal Practice) or equivalent qualification. (Or applicable administration work experience);
  • Excellent spelling and grammar; and
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
