Our 9-month Trainee Legal Assistant Program provides you with:
- On-the-job training and development, with rotations through 3 different legal teams so you can experience what it's like to work in different areas of the firm.
- A comprehensive orientation and learning program.
- A dedicated buddy/coach within each of your 3 rotations who will teach and guide you when undertaking tasks and offer advice along the way.
- A dedicated Team Leader who will support and coach you through your entire program and beyond.
Upon successful completion of the program, you will be placed in a permanent Legal Assistant role within one of our legal teams.
Key program dates
- Applications open on Monday 15 September and close on Monday 13 October 2025
- Offers made the week commencing Monday 3 November 2025
- Trainee Legal Assistant Program commences on Tuesday 27 January 2026
Essential criteria
To be considered for our Trainee Legal Assistant Program, you will need:
- Certificate III in Business Administration, Advanced Diploma of Business (Legal Practice) or equivalent qualification. (Or applicable administration work experience)
- Excellent spelling and grammar
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
