About the role

This is a full-time Transport and Logistics Manager role based in Yatala, Queensland, working for Explore Industries Australia Pty Ltd, a leading manufacturer and distributor of fibreglass swimming pools. In this position, you will oversee the scheduling of all swimming pool deliveries and products to our dealer network.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading a team of distribution staff and truck drivers across Australia.
  • Developing and implementing logistics strategies to optimise the company's supply chain and distribution processes.
  • Managing daily operations of distribution yards and transportation assets.
  • Monitoring and analysing KPIs to identify improvement areas and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Coordinating logistics activities with cross-functional teams and resolving issues.
  • Training and developing distribution personnel to ensure effective performance.
  • Collaborating with subcontractors and customers to strengthen relationships and improve customer experience.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Maintaining a fleet of freight assets across Australia.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar transport or logistics management role, preferably in manufacturing, transport, or logistics industries.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute effective logistics strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Accurate input and maintenance of delivery schedules and logistics data.
  • Knowledge of NHVR regulations.
