More about the role:

Due to our exciting expansion into care for all cancer, we are growing as an organisation. We're looking for a Supporter Care Officer to join our team and provide exceptional customer service to our supporters. Reporting to the Supporter Care Manager, you will play a key part in strengthening and retaining supporter engagement.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Being the first point of contact for Foundation enquiries and providing best practice customer service to those who reach out to us
  • Handling queries, requests and complaints from supporters across multiple channels, including phone, email, SMS and mail, in a timely manner
  • Supporting the retention strategy by thanking supporters for their gift, updating payment details and managing cancellations in line with retention guidelines
  • Ensuring all data is kept up-to-date, accurate and secure within our CRM environment
  • Implementing responsibilities according to documented processes and policies, assisting in streamlining them further where possible
  • Performing general admin tasks to assist with fundraising activities, including regular giving, appeals and events like Pink Test

What you bring to the role:

Our ideal candidate has at least two years experience in a customer service or telemarketing environment (preferably in fundraising) and has previously used a CRM database (Salesforce preferred). Critical to success in this role will be organisation, time management, agility, strong communication and excellent attention to detail. We\'re looking for an empathetic, patient and understanding team player.
