The role
The Building Automation Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market reach within the building automation sector. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and developing strategic plans to achieve sales targets with innovative automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the building automation industry.
Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand market presence.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to drive product growth.
Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs.
Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients.
Monitor and report on performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Ensure seamless integration and functionality of complex systems through meticulous project management.
Oversee the commissioning process, validating system performance and troubleshooting any issues to guarantee optimal operation.
Manage project handover, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on schedule.
Requirements:
To be successful in this opportunity you must have:
Proven experience in business development or sales within the building automation industry.
Strong understanding of automation products and market trends.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
