Overview

Vicore Construction is a successful residential builder in the Perth market, specialising in multi-residential builds and luxury homes. Our aim is to consistently create and build homes of the highest quality using modern methods of construction. We are a family-orientated, value-driven company with a deep understanding of the Western Australian market. Our work ranges from stylish and innovative family homes to luxury residential builds and multi-storey residential developments. We have an exciting opportunity for a Scheduler/Estimator to join our close-knit team in our Willetton office. You will need at least 2 years' experience in the Australian Building & Construction industry, with a good grounding in scheduling & projects administration. Although based in our Willetton office, you may be required to visit building sites as and when required. There will be opportunities for growth and expansion within the role as your experience and expertise increases.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrated experience calculating quantity take-offs from construction plans
  • Schedule tasks and sub-contractors based on project timelines
  • Create purchase orders using our quotation templates
  • Calculate and prepare progress claim schedules
  • Liaise with subcontractors and building supervisors
  • General administrative tasks
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Perth construction industry
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Databuild is advantageous
  • Able to read and understand construction plans
  • Strong negotiation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Methodical and organised
  • Able to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • Ability to work to deadlines and operate under some pressure
  • Current Driver's Licence and White Card

An attractive salary package will be offered, commensurate with experience. Either a full-time or part-time position will be available to the right candidate; we can offer some flexibility with hours worked, so you can work around family or school commitments.
