About the role

Home & Heritage Constructions is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team in East Fremantle, Western Australia. As a full-time Carpenter, you will play a vital role in the construction and maintenance of high-quality residential properties. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your carpentry skills and expertise to help deliver beautiful homes for our clients.

What you'll be doing

  1. Constructing and installing interior and exterior building components, such as floors, walls & roofs?
  2. Reading and interpreting building plans
  3. Performing general maintenance and repair work on existing structures
  4. Collaborating with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to complete projects
  5. Ensuring all work meets building codes and safety standards
  6. Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a Carpenter, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in the residential construction industry
  2. Excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
  3. Ability to read and interpret building plans
  4. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  5. Excellent attention to detail and quality of work
  6. Good physical condition and stamina to perform physically demanding tasks
  7. Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team
  8. Valid driver's licence and own reliable transportation
