About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Planner Scheduler to join our dynamic project team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of complex port infrastructure and construction projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather input and validate schedule data.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying potential delays and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports, including look-ahead schedules and critical path analysis.
  • Integrate subcontractor schedules into the master schedule and ensure alignment with overall project timelines.
  • Support project risk assessments and incorporate risk mitigation strategies into the schedule.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide scheduling insights to support decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate records of schedule changes and ensure proper documentation.

Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Planner Scheduler in port infrastructure, marine works, or large-scale construction projects.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other scheduling software.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and project lifecycle.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Desirable:
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and project controls.
  • Familiarity with contractual scheduling requirements (e.g., NEC, FIDIC).
  • Exposure to port authority regulations and marine construction standards.
