About The Role

As Head of Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company's commercial strategy. You'll lead business development initiatives across the C&I and small scale utility battery energy storage market, identifying and securing strategic partnerships, customers, and growth opportunities.

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for BESS solutions
  • Lead commercialisation of battery energy storage system across Australia
  • Develop and lead market strategy, partnerships and positioning
  • Build opportunities across large C&I organisations, energy developers and utilities
  • Work closely with the product team and oversee product roadmap
  • Lead commercial negotiations and deal structuring
Experience / Qualifications
  • Proven track record in business development within renewable energy or cleantech
  • Experience in selling and delivering complex C&I energy projects
  • Strong understanding of the renewable energy market (BESS systems and renewable energy projects)
  • Experience leading commercial initiatives and managing partnerships and closing complex deals
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in a startup or scale-up environment
  • Technical understanding of battery systems or energy storage technologies
  • Leadership experience, including mentoring or managing small teams
  • A strong network in the industry
