We are seeking full-time and casual Drivers who want to join our Airport team in Darwin.

What does a typical day look like?

This is an exciting role that looks different every day. However in a typical day, you will load fully stocked aircraft trolleys onto our trucks at our catering facility, before delivering them to the aircraft. Once airside, your duties include guiding our fleet of hi-lift vehicles for safe approach, servicing the aircraft, and final signoff with the crew.

Our airside team are much more than Drivers – they are the face of dnata catering out on the tarmac.

 What are your responsibilities?

  • Short distance driving.
  • Marshalling Driver's on the tarmac to position the truck in line with company, airport, & airline policies.
  • Liaise with airline staff & hand over delivery.
  • Follow up on any discrepancies & ensure that the flight load is correct.
  • Preparation & packing of catering equipment.
  • Load & unload trucks with equipment, including carts & ovens.
  • Basic checks of vehicles & equipment, including re-fuelling.
  • Administrative documentation, reporting & general cleaning duties as required.

We will provide you with all the training & support you need to set you up for success in your new role.

What do you need to be successful in securing this role?

  • MR or HR driver's license preferred.
  • Ability to perform frequent manual handling tasks.
  • Flexibility working around flight schedules is essential.
  • Good verbal & written communication skills.
