Job Role

Elevate your career with a challenging position as a Leading Hand. We are seeking an experienced Commercial Driver with excellent leadership capabilities to lead our Airside team on shift.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate team members in the Customer Delivery department.
  • Ensure productivity and performance criteria are met, including regular performance assessment reports.
  • Assist supervision of catering trucks within a designated work area to ensure safe and timely delivery to aircraft.
  • Lead by example and perform all duties of a Driver.
  • Supervise, train and induct workers within a designated work area.
  • Organise and coordinate work within the designated work area.
  • Perform administrative and reporting duties as required.
  • Follow up on discrepancies and ensure accurate flight deliveries.
Requirements for Success
  • Demonstrate leadership, decision making and organisational skills to meet performance requirements.
  • Show hands-on leadership and display strong communication skills.
  • Hold a valid ASIC card, Australian state/territory MR or greater driver's license and airside ADA authority.
  • Fork Lift license is preferred but not essential. First Aid Certificate and WHS qualifications are also desirable.
  • Flexibility to work around flight schedules (7 day operation) is crucial.
  • A clean Police Record is mandatory.
