About The Role

The SAP HR Team Lead provides specialist technical capability for the design, implementation, maintenance and support of InfraBuild's SAP HR and Payroll systems and related application interfaces. The role supports the SAP application footprint and promotes production change across InfraBuild businesses. The team lead element extends across SAP HR & Payroll components and cross-functional SAP support resources. The InfraBuild SAP team supports all InfraBuild businesses using SAP as the ERP and can be based in Sydney, Newcastle or Laverton (VIC).

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and advice within the SAP HR Payroll application including integrated component architecture and design, maintaining knowledge as the tool evolves.
  • Understand the business operational and functional needs to pro-actively recommend process and/or solution improvements.
  • Provide solution designs and technical specifications delivering functionality that meets business needs, ensuring integrated operability across relevant modules and adherence to IT best practices.
  • Assess, document and communicate change implications.
  • Coordinate and assist with general project tasks, including training, documentation, process review and design, data cleansing and cutover tasks.
  • Coordinate and contribute to the development, documentation and execution of functional unit and integrated test scenarios; assist with user acceptance testing as appropriate.
  • Day-to-day system support within SAP specialist components, including issue resolution, user training, analysis of new functionality requests and performance monitoring.
  • Provide oversight and direction on work activities and priorities.
About Your Experience
  • 10+ years of technical subject matter experience in a support and project delivery capacity.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and clearly engage and communicate with them.
  • Adherence to IT standards and industry best practices.
  • Advanced experience with design, implementation, maintenance, administration and support of SAP Payroll and HR.
  • Experience in SAP SuccessFactors and SAP FICO modules is highly regarded.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to learning, emerging technologies, growth, self-learning and continuous improvement.
