Overview

STAND-ALONE PAYROLL OFFICER - $95/100K S - WFH 2 DAYS SYD/NEWCASTLE OR BRISSIE

What You'll Do
  • Take sole ownership of end-to-end payroll processes for approximately 300 employees.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams; audit and manage payroll and timekeeping systems with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.

About You / Job Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience managing end-to-end payroll and confident in running the payroll department for 300+ employees.
  • Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
  • Solid understanding of multi-state payroll requirements, awards, legislation, and taxation.
  • Confidence in auditing and managing payroll and timekeeping systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with HR, Finance, and other teams.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for process improvement.
